Description
The Abadan project is a 24,000 square foot mixed-use office building
consisting of both retail space, offices, and warehouse/storage space.
This project was constructed under a GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price)
contract. Using this project delivery system Chervenell was able to
work closely with the owner to cater the building to both the owner’s
needs and the budget they had available.
This project
was an example of how well the value engineering process can be used
to achieve a budget that the owner is comfortable with and that all
their needs are assessed and met.
