Project Description Chervenell completed construction of the Cayuse Technologies Building, a design-build project consisting of a 42,000 square foot office building. The owner of the 6.5 million dollar facility is the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation and is located outside of Pendleton, Oregon. The building is utilized as a computer call and software development center. The facility is comprised of open bay areas, enclosed offices, training/lecture rooms, conference rooms, and a computer server room. The majority of the building is on a raised computer access floor to allow flexibility in rearranging office space as required. The building is heated and cooled by the innovative state-of-art Under Floor Ventilation System which uses the space between the concrete slab and access flooring as a ventilation plenum eliminating the need for most of the normal ductwork used in conventional ventilation systems. http://northwest.construction.com/features/archive/BestofDecember2008.pdf
