Project Description
The
Fort Simcoe Dormitory project is based in the foothills of
the Cascade Mountain Range. These four new buildings were
built for the Department of Labors Job Corp which is based
out of Ft. Simcoe in White Swan, WA. With a long and heavy
winter the schedule was not affected and all four buildings
were finished on time and under budget. The overall square
footage of the project was approx. 55,000 square feet on 5
acres. Each building was constructed of interior and
exterior CMU Walls, wood roof trusses with asphalt shingles.
With the project complete the United States Government will
now have 119 new dormitory rooms in which to house and train
the students of the Job Corp.
