Outlook Elementary School Restoration
3800 Van Bell Road
Outlook, WA

Project Description
A fire occurred at Outlook Elementary just before Christmas and resulted in the complete loss of the cafeteria, commons and stage areas of the building along with substantial smoke and water damage throughout the entire building.  Chervenell mobilized resources to the site the very next day and was able to facilitate an impressive cleanup and restoration effort which resulted in the school being allowed to resume classes as scheduled after their winter vacation.  The fourth grade wing was one of the most heavily damaged areas and required the removal of sheet rock, fixtures, cabinets and ceilings.  This wing was put back into use less then two months after the fire.  Chervenell is now engaged in the construction of the new commons building and classroom as well as the new upgraded kitchen.  This work is scheduled for completion in January 2008 at which time the school will be back to full operating capacity.
