Project Description Pioneer Elementary School is a single story 72,014 square foot building. This slab-on-grade structure consists of exterior insulated CMU bearing walls with steel and wood beams. The roof is constructed of wood scissor trusses, plywood joists and open-web steel joists with wood frame interior walls. The entire building has automated fire sprinklers and is air conditioned. New asphalt parking lots, concrete curbing and sidewalks complete the exterior.
