Pre-construction services were provided at the beginning of design to provide constructability review and ongoing estimating to assure the project comes in on time and on budget.
The New Armand Larive Middle School will be at a new location on West 9th in Hermiston on a 47 acre parcel.
The building will be comprised of structural steel, concrete masonry units, and wood framing. There are three classroom wings that stem from a central commons area which is in front of the two gyms. Armand Larive Middle School will also have energy efficiency features like solar energy components that will be on the roof of the building.
All of the components chosen for this project show the investment in the community the City of Hermiston has made. From the sport fields to the theater seating at the stage this school will be a destination for all in Hermiston.
