Pre-construction services were provided at the beginning of design to provide constructability review and ongoing estimating to assure the project comes in on time and on budget.
The new Sunset Elementary School (prototype to West Park Elementary) is located in the playfields between the existing Armand Larive Middle School and existing Sunset Elementary just east of Highway 395 in Hermiston, OR.
This new one story, 62,000 square foot facility on 19 acres will provide the students of Sunset with an oversized gymnasium, 29 classrooms, playfields and up to date technology. The majority of the structure consists of wood framing and masonry, with structural steel in the gymnasium.
