Project Description The new West Park Elementary School is located just south of Orchard Ave. and 7th Avenue in Hermiston, OR, just east of the existing West Park Elementary. This new one story, 62,000 square foot facility on 15 acres will provide the students of West Park with an oversized gymnasium, 29 classrooms, playfields and up to date technology. The majority of the structure consists of wood framing and masonry, with structural steel in the gymnasium. The building construction will take approximately 13 months, with the demolition of the existing school to be complete in the summer of 2011.
