Project Description The Yakima Federal Bank-Clearwater Branch is a two phase project that consisted of a complete parking lot addition and renovation in the first phase coupled with a later contract to renovate the exterior and interior of the bank. Phase one was completed at the end of summer 2005. The project was completed without blocking access to the bank including demolishing and replacing each drive thru lane. Special provisions were made including using specialized cement in the concrete to allow for vehicular traffic on the new lanes within three days of pouring them. Phase two is an approximately $500,000 renovation that consisted of the demolition of the exterior skin of the building and the interior partitions, flooring, ceiling, mechanical, and electrical. This phase was split into two portions of work to allow for the bank to remain operational during construction. The new bank will consist of a new stucco finish on the exterior along with completely renovated mechanical and electrical systems and all new finishes. These changes have completely updated the look and feel of the bank and have been completed with minimal impact on customer service abilities of the bank. This project is a true demonstration of being able to coordinate with the owner, architect, subcontractors, and our forces to serve all the needs of the owner and building.
